FDCR Forum Meeting

The FDCR Forum Meeting is a general meeting to discuss matters relating to the FDCR Platform implementation, including its focus areas/domains, projects, governance, future conferences, human capital development, etc. While the Meeting is open to anyone, it is expected that all FDCR-funded students and their supervisors, the domain leads, and representatives from the Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research (CAIR), South African National Blockchain Alliance (SANBA), the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research’s (CSIR) Contract Management team and the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation’s (DSTI) Contract Management team, will attend.

All FDCR delegates who are in Umhlanga on 16 July are invited to join the meeting and the subsequent cocktail function, in person. Virtual participation will be available for those who are not in Umhlanga.

Registration for the in-person attendance of the FDCR Forum Meeting & Cocktail Function is compulsory (although cost-free), to enable logistical arrangements relating to the venue and catering.
