We received approval for the publication of the proceedings as a volume of Springer CCIS dependent on a cohesive volume. We therefore ask all authors to indicate how their research addresses the themes below specifically as part of the abstract and conclusion. We will include this aspect in the review process.
Main Conference Theme: Sustainable Digital Intelligent Frontiers
Sub-themes:
- AI and digital technologies for sustainable development
- Intelligent and resilient systems
Note:
Abstracts are due before the main conference so that the review process can start. However, SAICSIT is not an abstract conference and only full papers will enter the review process and will be considered for the proceedings.
Submissions in English only.
Authors are asked to indicate how their research addresses the select sub-theme. This will be considered during the review process.
All full papers will be double-blind peer-reviewed by an international panel of experts. Accepted papers will be published in Springer CCIS Series – Communications in Computer and Information Science (DHET subsidy-bearing as a journal publication). High-quality papers not accepted for the CCIS series will be published in the SAICSIT 2025 online proceedings with an ISBN.
Submissions should be formatted using the Springer guidelines, available at https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines and author names and affiliations should be removed from the initial paper submission due to the double-blind review process. The EasyChair submission page can be accessed via the following link: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=saicsit2025. The official conference language is English. Please visit the conference website for more details.
The program committee will consider the following criteria when evaluating submitted papers:
- Originality of contribution.
- Relevance to the conference.

Authors of a limited number of excellent papers will be invited to extend their work to be included in the South African Computer Journal.
