As the Director of the Centre for Community Technologies since 2014, Prof. van Greunen has led numerous ground breaking projects. Her research output is prolific and impactful, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and conference presentations. Prof. van Greunen is widely recognized, as evidenced by her numerous awards. She has served on numerous boards, including the Nelson Mandela University Council and the International Software Testing Qualifications Board. Her involvement in organizations like the Pan African Information Communication Technology Association and the BRICS Skills Council underscores her role in shaping ICT policy and practice across Africa and beyond.
